When More Information Leaves You More Confused….
What Women Juggling a Lot Really Need - and Why More Data Isn’t the Answer
You're not someone who gives up easily.
So when you started feeling off — tired, foggy, stuck — you did what driven women do.
You went and got the data.
You paid for the testing.
A comprehensive panel. Dozens of markers. A deeper look at your health.
You told yourself:
This is it. This is how I finally figure out what’s going on.
You get your results back.
You scroll through the numbers.
Some are flagged. Some are “optimal.”
There are explanations… but they feel vague. Impersonal. Hard to apply.
And now you’re sitting there thinking:
Is this bad?
Should I be worried?
What do I actually do with this?
So you do what most of us do.
You go back to Google.
You listen to another podcast. Read another article. Build your own supplement protocol at 11pm. I know I’ve been there.
And still — you’re exhausted, you’re not feeling better, and you’re starting to wonder if you’ll ever figure out your own body.
If this is where you are, I want you to hear this:
There is nothing wrong with you.
The very thing that makes you good at everything else — researching, optimizing, pushing through — is exactly what keeps you stuck here.
Because more information isn’t what your body needs.
Direction is.
This is the part no one prepares you for
Women carrying a lot of responsibility are used to solving things.
Gather the right information. Apply it. Get results.
That approach works in nearly every other area of life.
But with your health? It often backfires.
Because in real life, when it comes to health, the formula looks more like this:
More information → more questions → more uncertainty → more stress
And that stress matters.
Because your body isn’t just responding to your lab values.
It’s responding to what’s happening internally.
The hidden cost of information overload
When you’re constantly trying to:
Figure out what each number means
Decide what to prioritize
Choose between conflicting recommendations
…your nervous system stays in a subtle, ongoing state of activation.
Even if everything you’re doing is meant to help.
This is where so many high-performing women get stuck.
The constant state of being “on” — of searching and striving — leaves your body feeling unsafe and unable to settle.
And that state of feeling settled — that’s where healing actually occurs.
Why we’re drawn to labs and data in the first place
This part actually makes a lot of sense.
We were taught from a young age that a test tells us where we stand — what’s right, what’s wrong, what needs to be fixed.
So data feels:
Objective
Clear
Solvable
It gives you something to hold onto.
Something that says: “Here. This is the problem. Now fix it.”
And when you’ve been told “everything looks normal” for years…
Having something show up on a lab can even feel validating.
Finally. There’s a reason I feel this way.
But here’s where things quietly go wrong. Information is not the same thing as direction
Knowing that something is off…
…is not the same as knowing:
What matters most
What’s underneath it as the root cause
Or what will actually help you feel better
This is why I see so many women come in with:
Pages of lab results
Long supplement lists they built themselves
And still no real clarity — still not feeling like themselves
Because data, on its own, doesn’t tell a story. And it definitely doesn’t create change.
Your body doesn’t heal from information alone
Healing happens when:
The right systems are supported
The underlying stressors are reduced
And your body is given what it needs consistently
Not when you:
Analyze more
Search more
Or add more to your routine
In fact — the constant searching and striving is often the very thing keeping you stuck.
A different way to think about this
What if the goal isn’t:
“How do I get more information about my body?”
But instead:
“How do I create clarity about what actually matters?”
Because clarity feels very different than information.
Clarity:
Reduces the noise — instead of adding to it
Tells you what to do next — not just what’s wrong
Gives your nervous system permission to exhale
If this is where you are right now…
If you’ve:
Invested in testing
Tried to piece it together yourself
And still don’t feel like you have a clear path
There’s nothing wrong with you.
And you didn’t waste your time or your money.
You just weren’t given what you actually needed next.
A different place to start
Before you order another test…
Before you try to figure out one more number…
What if you paused here?
And simply asked:
👉 Is my body getting what it needs to feel safe, supported, and steady each day?
Because more often than not, the biggest shifts don’t come from finding something new.
They come from returning to what’s been missing.
A simple place to begin
If you’re not sure where to start, try this:
Do a gentle audit of your daily life —
Not with a checklist mindset.
Just with honest curiosity about what your body might be asking for.
Ask yourself:
Am I eating regularly enough to support stable energy?
Am I getting outside light early in the day?
Is my nervous system ever truly getting a chance to settle?
Am I sleeping in a way that actually restores me?
Do my food choices fuel me — or drain me?
Do my days feel rushed… or supported?
You don’t need to fix everything.
Just notice.
Because what you notice… is often where your body is asking for support.
Why this matters more than you think
When these foundations are in place:
Inflammation begins to settle
Energy becomes more consistent
Your body starts to regulate
And often —
Things begin to shift without needing more data at all.
But by learning how to:
Filter through the noise
Understand what actually matters for your body
And move forward in a way that feels clear and sustainable
Because your body isn’t as complicated as it feels right now.
It’s just been buried under too much input.
And if you’re still feeling stuck…
There is a place for deeper insight.
Something is coming that I think you’ll find genuinely helpful — a way to get real clarity on what your labs are actually saying, with the context and conversation that makes it actually useful.
Not just a number. A next step.
I’ll be sharing more soon — stay close.
For now —
You don’t need to figure everything out today.
Just start by coming back to what your body has been asking for all along.
And we’ll get there — together. 💛
