The Four Stressors

When most people hear the word “stress,” they think of the mental and emotional stressors. This could be job stress, losing a loved one, or financial stress. Many of these stressors are inevitable and beyond our control, but we can learn how to be better prepared when they happen.

However, there are other stressors that contribute to these chronic symptoms that we can control. These include sleep issues, blood sugar instability, and inflammation. Each of the 4 stressors play a significant role in the way our body functions, and can lead to chronic health issues if left unchecked. By learning the principles of functional medicine, you can learn how to minimize stressors so that when you get a flat tire, or when your kids just won’t go to sleep, you can handle it with ease!

Stress Less, Be Your Best

Are you interested in joining the practice, but aren’t quite ready to commit? This course can be a great way to see what it's like to work with me and explore functional medicine, without a big commitment. My Stress Less Program provides foundational functional medicine knowledge to get you started on the right foot.

  • With 6 weeks of lectures, weekly assignments, recipes, and a full workbook, you will leave the course having enough information to feel confident and empowered. This is our longest, most extensive program yet, all for less than a single doctor’s visit would cost!

  • I would explain the course as "The Overworked Mom's guide to reclaiming calm and focus in a hectic world." Why? Because I'm a recovering stressed out mom who completed years of training in functional medicine to learn how to be the boss of my stress. But I am going to guide you through it in just 6 weeks!

  • Of course, you don't have to be a mom (or even a woman for that matter!) to benefit from the program. The research is obvious - stress can have detrimental effects on our health if we don't keep it under control. This course was designed to provide you with the tools you need, so that you too can regain control over your stress!
